Who we are

A Guy Pro is a renovation and handyman business based at 7771 Alderbridge Way, Richmond, BC V6X 0W7, Canada. This policy covers aguypro.com.

What we collect

When you request a free estimate, the form collects:

your name and phone number;
your email address, if you choose to give it;
the service you need, your city or area, and your description of the job;
photos you choose to upload (up to 5).

If you message us on WhatsApp, we receive what you send there, along with your WhatsApp name and number. WhatsApp is run by Meta and has its own privacy policy.

To protect the form from spam, our server briefly keeps a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address and the time you sent the form. These records are deleted automatically after about two days.

Why we collect it and how we use it

To understand your job and prepare a quote.
To contact you about your request by phone, WhatsApp or email.
To plan and do the work if you hire us.

We don't sell your information. We don't use your photos for marketing without asking you first.

How it's handled

Form submissions are sent to our business email inbox, with your photos attached. Our website host and email provider process this data for us to make that possible. We keep quote requests only as long as we need them for your job and our business records.

Analytics and advertising

We may use tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel to see how visitors use the site and to measure our ads (for example, counting how many people send a quote request after clicking an ad). These tools can use cookies or similar technology and are run by Google and Meta under their own privacy policies. You can limit them with your browser's privacy settings, an ad blocker, or the opt-out tools those companies provide.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do that, contact us through the quote form (choose "Something else") or on WhatsApp.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
